Frequently Asked Questions
-
I recommend getting in touch four weeks prior to when you would like your session to take place. That gives us time to learn about your dog and plan our session so you get the most out of our time together.
-
Wherever you want! I want you to have the best experience you can and that starts with being somewhere that you and your dog enjoy going to. It could be the local dog park, the beach, a forest, your town centre. If you don’t have anywhere specific in mind I can offer some beautiful locations as well.

A session costs £145 and lasts for 1-2 hours. There are also three collections to choose from, Classic, Premium and Superior. Details of all three are below.
-
Absolutely not. There is no rush in our time together so we can make sure that your dog feels comfortable with me before we even start taking pictures.
-
Absolutely not. I can digitally remove the leash when I edit your photos.
-
You get one complimentary digital image as standard with your session fee and others can be purchased in addition.
-
Your session is all about your dog and your bond with them. Don’t worry though if you’re camera shy as there are ways of being in the picture without being ‘in’ the picture.
Session process & follow up
Every dog is different which is why before we do anything else I get to know your dog a little bit better with a few questions which I send you to complete so we can get the most out of our time together.
Once that’s done we arrange a day and time for our session. This is usually in what we refer to as the golden hour, an hour or so after sunrise and before sunset, when the sun is lower in the sky and the light at it’s best.
Sessions take place outdoors either at a favourite place where you and your dog enjoy going for your walks or if you prefer I can recommend a few places.
There is no pressure on your dog to perform or to be off leash as I can remove these in the editing process. This is your time and your dog and we will capture some beautiful images that really show their personality.
After our session I professionally edit the images, removing distractions and making your dog the star of the show. Once that’s done, generally within two weeks, I unveil your gallery either in person at your home or if you prefer online. This is when you have the opportunity to place any orders for artwork or digital files.
Collections and individual piece prices are available on request.

My story
I’ve always loved photography from the time I got my first point and shoot camera, a Konica Pop, through digital and now mirrorless cameras. For me it’s all about capturing moments, telling stories and making memories.
Dog photography started for me when I took my my camera out on walks with Pepper, our Lab/Mastiff who sometimes thinks she’s the dog version of The Terminator but really is more like Goofy. I wanted to share with my wife what I was seeing - Pepper having a good sniff and exploring the world and playing with her friends. This led to the lightbulb moment when I realised that I’m actually very good at it and should take it seriously.
We are now proud pawrents to a second dog, Ronnie, a Jack Russel as well as 2 cats. They mean the absolute world to us and brighten our days immeasurably.
Knowing how special the bond between human and fur baby is, capturing it for you and presenting it in beautiful wall art that you will cherish for many years to come is a privilege and brings me joy knowing that your bond is being celebrated.
I know they don’t always behave as well as we would like but that’s all part of their unique personalities and you need have no worries about your fur babies behaviour putting you off an experience with me as what could be considered bad behaviour I prefer to think of as personality. Sometimes they listen to us and other times their ears stop working. It’s all part of their unique personality and you & they deserve to have your special bond captured and celebrated with beautiful wall art.
